This time last year, the idea that a eurozone country might have to abandon the currency was a fairly outlandish one. But the tumult of the past 12 months has seen old certainties dissolve, and even if it is still generally thought that such an eventuality is unlikely, the means of avoiding it are far from decided and the risk is real.
