Spirits up as Prosonix gets Down for CMO

Respiratory medicines developer Prosonix has appointed Dr Geoff Down to the newly created role of chief medical officer. Dr Down has over 18 years' clinical development experience in pharma, following 10 years in clinical practice. He joins Prosonix having most recently run his own company providing services as a consultant pharmaceutical physician, during which time he worked in clinical safety for Pfizer R&D, in clinical development for RespiVert, and in clinical pharmacology at GlaxoSmithKline's R&D Respiratory and Immuno-Inflammation medicines development centre.
