Deepak Khanna, senior vice-president and MSD UK managing director, has been named president elect of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. Mr Khanna will take over from current ABPI president Simon Jose (GSK) after the 2012 ABPI AGM in April. He will initially be in the post for one year, with the option of re-election for a further 12 months.
