GSK's John Clarke joins board of Futura

Futura Medical, a pharmaceutical group developing innovative products for consumer healthcare, has appointed John Clarke non-executive chair of the board. Mr Clarke worked at GlaxoSmithKline for over 35 years, most recently as president of GSK Consumer Healthcare, a position from which he recently stepped down. Mr Clarke will join the board on 1 February 2012, when Dr William Potter, Futura's current chair, will step down. Dr Potter will take the role of chief scientific officer.
