Auxilium promotes James Tursi to CMO

Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, a speciality biopharmaceutical company, has named Dr James Tursi chief medical officer, reporting to Armando Anido, CEO and president. Dr Tursi has worked for Auxilium since March 2009, responsible for overseeing clinical development, clinical operations, biometrics and medical writing. Prior to Auxilium, he served as a medical director for Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals.
