Executive Summary
The International AIDS Vaccine Initiative has appointed Margaret McGlynn president and chief executive officer. Ms McGlynn, who has been a member of IAVI's board of directors since July 2010, replaces Seth Berkley, the organisation's founding president and CEO. Ms McGlynn was previously head of Merck's vaccines and infectious diseases business, and served on the board of the GAVI Alliance.
