Sanofi appoints new senior vice-president for Europe

Sanofi has appointed Peter Guenter as its senior vice-president for Europe. Mr Guenter, currently general manager of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, joined Sanofi in 1995 and has held various positions including general manager of Belgium and vice-president for Eastern Europe, Northern Europe and Scandinavia. He replaces Belen Garijo, who Sanofi says is taking on a leadership role in another pharmaceutical company.
