GenVec elects two to board

GenVec has elected Dr Adel Mahmoud and Dr Edward Connor to its board of directors. Dr Mahmoud is a professor at Princeton University, and was previously chief medical advisor of Merck & Co. Dr Connor is director of the office of innovation development and investigational therapeutics at Children's National Medical Center and was previously CMO and executive vice-president of MedImmune.
