EMA nominates Italy's Guido Rasi as new executive director

The European Medicines Agency's management board has nominated Guido Rasi to be the new executive director of the agency1. Dr Rasi has been director general of the Italian medicines agency, AIFA, since 2008 and a member of the EMA's management board since 2010.
