Hungary claws extra 8% of drug costs back from manufacturers as part of €60mn cuts

Executive Summary

Subject to the approval of the Hungarian parliament, Hungary's government is raising drug manufacturers' rebate on their reimbursed products sales from the current 12% to 20%. It may come into force in July this year, according to Dr Miklos Szocska, the health minister.
