Executive Summary

Federal prosecutors have re-indicted Lauren Stevens, the former associate general counsel of GlaxoSmithKline, on charges of obstruction and making false statements during a federal inquiry into company practices, the US Department of Justice said 14 April. The move comes just three weeks after the judge overseeing the case, Judge Roger Titus, dismissed an earlier indictment for prosecutorial error, with permission for the prosecutors to seek a new indictment (, 24 March 2011).
