Richard Bender Joins Caris Life Sciences

Caris Life Sciences, an Irving, Texas-based biosciences company focused on enabling personalised healthcare through anatomic pathology, molecular profiling and blood-based diagnostic services, has named Dr Richard Bender senior vice-president for medical affairs, oncology. Most recently, Dr Bender served as vice-president and chief medical officer at Agendia. He also spent six years as medical director at Quest Diagnostics, and has held senior roles at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D for medical oncology/haematology and the National Cancer Institute.
