Allergan's president Michael Ball to join Hospira; chairman & CEO David Pyott to resume president role

Executive Summary

Allergan has reappointed David Pyott as president, effective 27 March. He will continue to serve as chairman and chief executive officer, and will fill the role of the company's current president, Michael Ball, who has been named CEO of the speciality pharmaceutical and medication delivery company Hospira. Upon his appointment on 28 March, Mr Ball will succeed Hospira's founding CEO, Christopher Begley, who will then assume the role of executive chairman.
