Executive Summary
Shire has appointed Emmanuel Chantelot director of European government relations and public policy. He will be responsible for developing the company's relationships with the main European governmental institutions and building partnerships with key stakeholders in Brussels. Mr Chantelot was previously executive director of European Biopharmaceutical Enterprises, a European trade association of 63 biopharmaceutical companies operating as the biotechnology arm of EFPIA.
