Chimerix, a US biotechnology company developing antiviral therapeutics, has appointed Timothy King vice-president of clinical operations and Dr Hervé Momméja-Marin vice-president of clinical research. Mr King has more than 20 years' experience managing and directing device and drug development clinical trials, having most recently served as a group director at Quintiles. Dr Momméja-Marin has 20 years' experience of global medical and clinical research in infectious and respiratory disease and clinical medicine. He was previously senior medical director of infectious diseases at the contract research organisation i3 Research.
