Slovenia's largest pharmaceutical manufacturer, Krka, increased its net profit by 7% to €47.1 million in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period of 2009, but its operating profit declined by one fifth to €54.2 million. The company's sales were flat at €246.1 million, to which exports contributed 90%.
