Executive Summary
Both houses of the US Congress on 25 March passed amendments to the new healthcare reform measure signed into law by President Barack Obama on 23 March. On 21 March, in passing the core reform bill, the House of Representatives also voted out the changes, which then went to the Senate for acceptance. Because some slight wording changes were made by the Senate in approving that measure on 25 March, it had to be voted on again in the House, where it immediately passed the same day.
