German olanzapine court decision to decrease Stada's fiscal 2008 profits

Germany’s supreme court has overturned a federal patent court's decision and confirmed that an initial supplier’s patent for olanzapine is valid until 2011. The product is an active pharmaceutical ingredient for Lilly's atypical antipsychotic Zyprexa.
