Executive Summary
Pharmaceutical and vaccine issues were again high on the agenda at the latest round of talks in the EU and Japan's long-running dialogue on regulatory reform. The European side is continuing to push for a number of fundamental changes and business groups are calling for a free trade agreement which would include the mutual recognition of marketing authorisations.
