Executive Summary
Philippe Fauchet had been appointed president of GlaxoSmithKline in Japan, effective immediately. He succeeds Marc Dunoyer, who becomes chairman of the subsidiary. Mr Fauchet is a former president of Sanofi-Aventis in Japan, a post from which he stepped down in 2008. He was most recently a senior vice-president for business development at Sanofi-Aventis in France.
