Sanofi-Aventis expands syringe and vaccine production at Le Trait

Sanofi-Aventis has launched new production units at its Le Trait injectables manufacturing site near Rouen, France. The company has invested €87 million in the facility over the past three years. One million syringes are produced at the site each day, and around 90% of these are exported, 25% of which to the North American market.
