The UK NHScan now use continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (insulin pump therapy) to treat type I diabetes in children younger than 12 years of age if multiple daily injections are not practical or appropriate, the UK's National Institute for health and Clinical Excellence(NICE) says in final guidance.
