Seizure drug gains Australian orphan status

The Australian Therapeutic Goods Adminsitration (TGA) has granted orphan status to Phebra's anti-seizure treatment Midazolam Buccal Liquid. The 10mg in 1mL liquid is administered via an oral syringe for the treatment of status epilepticus in children and adults aged up to 19 years. It received designation on June 1st.
