Yissum Research Development Company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the technology transfer arm of the university, has appointed Yaacov Michlin chief executive officer, effective May 1st. The company's executive vice-president licensing & IP, Yehuda Yarmut, has been promoted to deputy CEO. Over the past 12 years, Mr Michlin has been assisting pharmaceutical, high-tech and biomedical companies in various technology commercialisation deals, licensing agreements, capital raising activities, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.
