Jubilant Organosys buys back bonds

Jubilant Organosys will pay an aggregate of about $40 million in cash to repurchase bonds maturing in 2010 and 2011, it says in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company is repurchasing foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) worth $3 million due in 2010 for $2.55 million and FCCBs worth $45.3 million due in 2011 for about $37.15 million. The aggregate principal amounts of the 2010 and 2011 bonds that will remain outstanding after the repurchase is $49.657 million and $143.6 million respectively.
