Dan Troy appointed senior VP and general counsel at GSK

Dan Troy has been appointed senior vice-president and general counsel for GlaxoSmithKlineand will join the company on September 2nd. He is currently a partner at the Washington law firm Sidley Austin, where he represents pharmaceutical companies and trade associations on matters related to the FDA and government regulations. Mr Troy was formerly chief counsel for the US FDA, where he served as a primary liaison to the White House and the US Department of Health and Human Services.
