Distributor Luxcon Group will launch two new fragrances from Italy this fall, followed by a holiday gift set based on its Pink Sugar scent for women, the firm announces August 7. The two scents for fall will be designed to catch the attention of men, Luxcon says. The first, L'Altra Follia de Aquarama Blue , made by Italian perfumer Aquarama, is inspired by the famous luxury speed boats made by the Riva family in northern Italy. The scent's woody bottom notes of vetiver, cedarwood and liquorice warm to spicy and aromatic mid and top notes. The juice is housed in a sea-blue bottle topped with a silver cap reminiscent of a speed boat propeller. The scent will be exclusive to Nordstrom doors. Prices range from $25 to $85; ancillaries include a shower gel and body lotion. Musk , by Promoparf Parfums, is a unisex scent though its packaging and imagery may appeal more directly to men, Luxcon says. Bowing in fall exclusively at Sephora, Musk features top notes of citrus, tangerine and orange flower and warms to floral, spicy mid notes of yasmin, ylang ylang, rose, iris and clove bud. The woody, musky drydown contains oakmoss, tonka bean, musk and amber. A 30 mL edp will retail for $18, 50 mL for $25 and 100 mL for $35. The company's Sexy in Pink holiday gift set ($40) offers its Pink Sugar fragrance in a Pink Sugar edt as well as Sweet Volumizing Lip Gloss, Glossy Shower Gel and Creamy Body Lotion. Made by Aquarama, Pink Sugar first launched in 2003, the firm says. The fragrance has Italian citrus and fig notes that warm to a musky, woody and powdery base.
