FDA will host a public meeting Aug. 28 in Rockville, MD in advance of the first meeting of the International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation group (ICCR) to take place Sept. 27 in Brussels, Belgium. Made up of cosmetics regulatory authorities from Japan, the U.S., the European Union and Canada, the ICCR seeks to realize global harmonization by removing regulatory obstacles between the regions. The meeting in Rockville will allow industry trade organizations and other stakeholders to provide input and suggest priority items; interested parties are invited to give oral presentations. ICCR members meet once a year to offer strategic guidance, set subject areas and determine policies related to the ICCR process and administration...
