Perfumes & Cosmetics division sales gain 7.3% to $550.2 mil. (€1=$.98) in third quarter due to successful launch of Christian Dior women's scent Dior Addict and roll out of Givenchy Pour Homme and Eau Torride fragrances, luxury goods manufacturer says. Double-digit sales growth at BeneFit Cosmetics and Fresh also helped to fuel sales, firm adds in its 1third quarter sales and earnings release Oct. 15. Sales in the Selective Retailing division, which includes Sephora and duty-free sales, fell 7.4% to $782.8 mil., due to slow recovery in travel retail, LVMH notes. In the U.S., Sephora recorded a 32% sales gain for the nine months, and Perfumes & Cosmetics division sales increased 6% in the region.
