Executive Summary

Color National Street Team promotional tour kicked off Aug. 31 in Boston. During the 37-day bus tour, six "young, hip, diverse" models will travel to nine cities in a Tommy Hilfiger Color bus. The tour is packed with attention-grabbing features, such as TV screens on the side of the bus which play videos of "hot new artists." The models will hand out samples and information about the new color cosmetics line from Aramis in "trendy spots" including concerts, night clubs, sporting events and retail outlets. About 300,000 samples will be distributed during the tour (1"The Rose Sheet" May 24, p. 7). After Boston, the bus will move on to New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Miami, Houston, Dallas and Los Angeles, winding up the trip Oct. 7 in San Francisco
