Compassion for Animals: "Corporate Standard" has 84 company supporters in Europe and New Zealand, the U.S. Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics announced. Companies complying with the standard agree not to test on animals for the development or manufacturing of cosmetics or household products after a cut-off date that each company sets. In Europe, animal rights groups will launch a print and television ad campaign to educate consumers on the standard. Designed by Leagas, Shafron and Davis (London) one ad shows implements used in animal testing with the tagline "Beauty tips." The spots will carry the slogan "Cosmetic testing: It's in your hands"...
