Executive Summary
Teva Pharmaceuticals' acquisition of fellow generics firm Ivax is expected to close on Jan. 12, 2006, the firms state in a joint release Dec. 23. The Israeli firm Teva and the Miami, Fla.-based Ivax have now signed a consent order for submission to FTC, which is "the last remaining regulatory condition to the consummation of the transaction," the release states.
