GUM TECH $3.5 MIL. AD CAMPAIGN SUPPORTING FOUR NEW PRODUCTS will be funded through an agreement with New York City-based Active Media Services, whereby obsolete inventory will be purchased by Active Media in exchange for $3.5 mil. in advertising credits, Gum Tech announced March 20. Active Media's parent company, Active International, is using the credit to purchase advertising time for Gum Tech. Active Media will, in turn, sell the obsolete inventory (in discontinued packaging) it receives through the agreement.
