Henry Schein has bought Arcona Health, Canada's third largest distributor of dental equipment, in a deal whose terms were not made public. The company will be renamed Henry Schein Arcona. Arcona Health was listed as one of Canada's top 100 fastest-growing companies with a turnover of US$32 million last year. The Melville, New York-based Henry Schein, claims to be the world's largest distributor to office-based medical, laboratory, veterinary and dental practices, with 250,000 customers.
