Precision Vascular has CE-marked for sale in Europe its Synchro neurovascular guidewire. The West Valley City, Utah company claims that the product has 50-100 times more torque delivery at the tip of the device compared with conventional guidewires. This enhances the introduction and delivery of adjunctive devices and shortens treatment time for conditions such as aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and strokes, it says. The Synchro product line was cleared for sale in the US last month.
