As outpatient dialysis becomes more routine in Germany, efforts have been made to combat the potential "industrialisation of dialysis". Last week the federal association of statutory health insurance physicians (KBV) and the leading groups of the statutory health insurance funds (GKV) signed a series of initial agreements on the quality assurance of the procedure.
