Bayer Healthcare has appointed Dr Peter Knuppel as director of the diagnostics division of Bayer Vital (Fernwald, Giebetaen), its German distribution company. He replaces Dr Roberto Parotelli, who was appointed director of marketing and distribution for Europe and Japan of the self-testing systems division this summer. Since July 2000, Dr Knuppel has been the worldwide director of parent company Bayer's molecular testing diagnostics division.
