Reuse, funding get more attention at MEDEC

Canada's medical device industry association, MEDEC (Toronto, Ontario), has appointed a 10-member federal affairs committee, which will complement the activities of the regulatory affairs committee. The new committee will focus initially on how to increase exposure at political and bureaucratic level in Ottawa on the key issues of single use/re-use and funding for medical devices development. Other issues will be identified over the course of future meetings, which will be held every six weeks.
