California federal appeals court denies Tyco/Nellcor's appeals and places a permanent injunction on the affected Nellcor pulse oximetry products, according to Masimo. In March 2004, a Los Angeles federal court jury found that Nellcor had infringed Masimo's patents and subsequently awarded Masimo $134.5 mil.
