Executive Summary
FISCHER/STERLING 510(k) SUBMISSION FOR iiRAD DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM will follow FDA clearance of a pending 510(k) for Sterling's Direct Ray solid-state x-ray detector technology. Under a Nov. 18 product development and marketing alliance, Sterling's technology will be combined with Fischer's x-ray generator, table and system console components to form the iiRAD system, Sterling says. Fischer will assemble the finished units at its Denver facility for marketing by Sterling worldwide.
