Executive Summary
Completes acquisition of Sorin Biomedical's tracheostomy products business effective Feb. 11. The business, which had calendar 1992 revenues of $43 mil., manufactures and markets a range of tracheostomy tubes and related accessories sold under the brand name Shiley. The previously announced purchase price was $85 mil. ("The Gray Sheet" Nov. 23, I&W-10). Adjustments have been made to the price but have not been disclosed.
